Reset password

I don’t know if I’m late on this, but if you go down to Forgot your Password in the login and type in another Conservapedia User’s Username, will the user’s password actually be reset? That would be fun. New world (talk) 12:05, 28 January 2024 (UTC)

No. Of course not. The next step is that you have to enter your current password. No website could be that easy to hack. Andy's a complete dickhead but the wiki software is relatively smart. Spud (talk) 12:16, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
Oh ok. Damn. Is the thing where at "certain times of the day" you can supposedly create an account even tru? New world (talk) 12:21, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
Not any more. Years ago they had it set that accounts could not be created overnight US time, apparently in an attempt to stop non-US people creating accounts and causing massive vandalism while they were asleep. That was dropped more years ago than I can remember, at least 8 I think. Oldusgitus (talk) 15:34, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
I don't like the idea of trolling CP. Just leave them alone. We're better people than this. GeeJayKWhere all evil dwells Where every lie is true 13:03, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
But is it actually worth it? Anna Livia (talk) 17:35, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
No. It's not worth it and it's not even possible. If you want to create an account now, you have to email Andy Schlafly and ask him to create an account for you. You also have to tell him why you want to edit Conservapedia and provide two character references. (You can bet Andy would like one of those references to be from a Christian minister of some kind, the other one to be from somebody heavily involved with the Republican Party and both of them to be from men with penises.) And I'm sure 9 times out of 10 Andy wouldn't even be arsed to create an account for anyone who fit his criteria. So forget about going on CP to troll them because basically nobody's ever going to be able to create an account there ever again and it's not easy to hack. And just ignore the stupid cunts! Spud (talk) 16:07, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
And nothing of value was lost, what with RobSmith sucking Putin’s dick because he wants to put LGBT Ukrainians in concentration camps and Ken sinking so deep into his self-hatred bigotry spiral that he’s about to get torn to bits by the Roche Limit. --Goatspeed. I am a Brit, of the female persuasion, have slight Ricardian tendencies - and I have looked at the front covers of newspapers other than the Express/Mail/Telegraph, and once read an article in the Morning Star, so I am less likely to be accepted than into the Fancy Handshakes Brigade. Conservapedia's "most conservative song" is Beat It by Michael Jackson. Is this because it refers to their wives? — Unsigned, by: AzuraSilver / talk / contribs

Since when was anything by Michael Jackson "conservative"?! Luigifan18 (talk) 05:10, 19 February 2024 (UTC)

It's that time again, Ken!

I don't monitor CP anymore but every four years NZ conducts its census and I have consistently predicted a rapid decline in religious belief which has been born out to be accurate. Ken loves making articles about how, any day now, religion will sweep the world (New Zealand specifically). Interestingly though, Ken is very vague on when this will happen - just hand waving with some quote from a 2006 prediction by a guy called Kaufmann. So every time the census is done I make a prediction and a year ago when the census was conducted I predicated that rate of "no religion" will remain steady around 50% (+ or minus - 5%). Ken refused to engage and just produced a whole series of articles with no real connection to the actual hard data.
Today is the day, Ken! The census results are slowly been released. I stick by my prediction that it'll be steady and may even see a small uptick in belief but no real change...and that your insistence that religious belief is soon to take over NZ is completely incorrect. Lets see Ken, let's see...Acei9 23:53, 28 May 2024 (UTC)

Did you see that Scotland hit over 50% no religion? (here 'tis) Scream!! (talk) 00:13, 29 May 2024 (UTC)
Why specifically New Zealand? I have nothing against the place, but it's hardly the epicentre of... anything, really. I'm not sure the world would really change even if the entire country decided to make an attempt to ressurrect Norse paganism [I actually think that would be kinda cool, actually...] KarmaPolice (talk) 00:33, 29 May 2024 (UTC)
because I am a New Zealander...and Ken I have been doing this since I joined RW 12 years ago. He keeps insisting NZ is about to struck by a wave of religion and I, living here, consistently show him to be wrong. It's our little game. Acei9 00:36, 29 May 2024 (UTC)
Does he actually specify what religion this wave is to be? KarmaPolice (talk) 00:46, 29 May 2024 (UTC)
Jedi or Pastafarianism, I presume? (By the 2018 censusWikipedia numbers, New Zealand has a few trolls answering. :) )
One fact that I doubt the Kentroll will like very much (and presumably handwave away accordingly): in repeated surveys, "Generation Z" in the United States has been significantly more receptive to atheism than previous generations. This 2018 Barna survey [1] is pretty typical in the numbers: in this survey, 13% of Generation Z are atheist, and 8% are agnostic. That's over double the atheism+agnostic rate of US Boomers.
